About Me

Karen Brown

I’m a teacher at heart, married twenty-five years, and have four amazing kids. I live in St. Louis and work as the Director of Family Ministries for our church.

I also occasionally round up some words here.

I like to write about what makes women laugh and cry, and what drives parents and teachers crazy…

I also write about my struggle to recognize God’s grace in my life. My blog title points to this, and the longer story is here.

Wanna become a Gold Level/Preferred Partner? Please send chocolate. Or drive my kids around for a month. Or maybe figure out a way I can lose weight while eating grilled cheese sandwiches and pickle chips every day. Any or all of the above …

Or simply follow me here and join a sweet community. 🙂

Need to chat? No problem! Just complete the brief form below. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can – right after I drop off the kids…

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace,
Karen

She who is bowed down shall speedily be released; she shall not die and go down to the pit, neither shall her bread be lacking. Isaiah 51:14

I would beg to differ here, Karen. I think that you are a stellar author and a deep thinker. I always go away fed and freed when I glean from what you have stopped and stooped to gather!
